General Info

Born and raised in the intellectually and culturally rich haven called Pune->Maharashtra->India. I grew up as the elder son in a business family. My father SubodhChandra Mishra is the son of a freedom fighter Dukhibandhab Mishra from Orissa and he moved over to Pune to establish himself. My mother Swarnaprabha Mishra is a beautiful and very capable housewife, who has devoted her all life to infuse in her children the morals and principles of the legacy that we belong to. They are the reason for my success and it's with their blessings that have come so far. My younger brother Sumit Mishra, is a graduate research student pursuing his MS in Aerospace Engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology located in Atlanta->Georgia->USA. My father is a self-made man who owns companies since last two decades supplying automotive press parts, fabrications, assemblies to the likes of TELCO, SPICER, CUMMINS et all. We have our establishments located in the industrial zone of Pirangut in Pune.

Personal Info

I was selected to Carnegie Mellon University at Pittsburg, for a MS in Information Systems after my MS in Electrical and Computer Engineering and I was even offered scholarship for the same, but I opted for industrial experience which would be pivotal for my entrepreneurial aspirations. I do have strong inclination to go to CMU for higher studies later in my career.

Currently, I am working as a Programmer Analyst II for the UAB School of Medicine where I am involved in projects of software development of the computer based patient records sytems and systems administration for the entire clinic. I wish to accrue all that would be needed to start up a new venture of a global company.

I've strong penchant for music and sports. I was a state level tennis player and have been strumming the guitar for the last 14 years. I learnt a lot while undergoing formal training at the Institute of Modern Music, Pune. I have performed on several occasions with my brother and friends at several national and international events. I was selected to the Berkelee College of Music, Boston which is like the Mecca for budding and talented music lovers around the globe. World's most renowned guitarists conduct workshops and perform at Berklee
